Vintage Industrial Kitchen with Big Chill + Pantone 2016 colors

When the Community Coordinator for Big Chill contacted me with a design challenge, I had to accept!

The challenge was to create a style board with Big Chills Lemonade Pink or Beach Blue Stove as the centerpiece, inspired by Pantones 2016 colors of the year.

The first mood board has Big Chills retro style stove and fridge in ‘Beach Blue’ as the main design focus,  I also added in some industrial shelving, a chalkboard wall, jute rug, a chandelier, and an old workbench for a kitchen island, matched with vintage cafe style stools, and we can’t forget an apron farmhouse sink!

For the second style board, I used Big Chills Lemonade Pink Stove as the main centerpiece.  For this style of kitchen I would like it to be more of a a retro cottage design.  I would add in some soft botanical prints, mint green pendant lighting and accessories, lots of whites and keep everything sweet, simple and soft.

I really like a whole mix of styles and these style boards clearly reflects that.  I believe that your home should reflect YOU, who you are, where you’ve been, and what you love, and if you follow those three things, I think they will all blend together beautifully.    Your home should tell a story, but not just any story, your story.

Thank you to Big Chill for giving me this fun design challenge.   Please read below for any image and product sources.
