The Shed vendor booth

The Shed booth update:End of January.

I want to start out this blog post, giving a huge shout out to everyone who has supported my new venture of having a booth at The Shed in Altoona, Wi. I am honestly blown away by the outpouring of positive feedback, messages from customers expressing how much they love what they have purchased, and the success the booth has seen in the past three months.  I am so happy that I can, in my own little way, help make your house a home.

I have been restocking my booth at The Shed about once every two  weeks.  .  I do my best to do blog posts showcasing my booth in its current state and focusing on the newest additions, so you can easily see some of what I currently have for sale, before you venture there to view and or purchase items!  I also post updated photos on my Facebook page as well.

In my booth, I am currently trying to minimize on the current items I have for sale in my sheds, like furniture, projects, home decor, vintage goods, etc.  Once my current inventory gets down to where I’d like it to be, my booth will have more of a ‘theme’ and a general overall feel of adventure and wanderlust mixed with vintage flair.  In a few months I will be doing a complete re-design of the booth itself (the ship lap walls stay, don’t worry) and am in the process of drawing up the unique design currently.  Stay tuned for those awesome updates! The fun part about having a booth space like this, is it is an ever changing design project!

Below are photos I took on Tuesday, January 24th after restocking my booth with new vintage goods and curated finds!

You can shop my unique goods, 7 days a week at The Shed at 1519 Mayer Road in Altoona, Wisconsin.  They are open until 5:00 pm every day!

The Shed; Booth update, early December.

I want to first say a big thank you to everyone who has supported this new journey the past 3 weeks!  Our first 3 weeks of having a little 8×9 booth space at The Shed in Altoona, Wi has been extremely successful, because of you all !  Because of your support, encouragement, and belief in Endless Acres Farmtiques and what it is that I do!  I am so grateful to have such a supportive community around me.

I have been restocking my booth at The Shed once per week.  I typically restock on Friday afternoons closer to closing.  I will do my best to do weekly blog posts showcasing my booth in its current state and focusing on the newest additions, so you can easily see some of what I currently have for sale, before you venture there to view and or purchase items!

Last week Friday I restocked and rearranged my booth with my daughter.  We have highly enjoyed this new little venture, and it has become a fun family affair.

The lighting in my booth is not the greatest, so I hope to remember to tote along my regular slr camera and flash, for better photographs.

There will also be bigger and better changes coming to my booth over the next few months, including a large custom Endless Acres Farmtiques sign, custom shelving I am currently designing, and more!  Stay tuned!

Below are photos I took on Friday December 2nd after restocking my booth with new vintage goods and finds!  You can click on an image to enlarge it.

I am booth # 56 , first booth on the left side of the right isle in the new addition! (whew, did that make sense?) If you can’t find my booth, ask Ed or someone at the front where to find me!  When you visit, be sure to say hi to Jackson the dog as well.  Nicest dog you will ever meet!

Yardstick side table.

Have you ever head of the saying, ‘Do what you can, with what you have, where you are?’  That quote applies to many different areas of my life. Particularly to how I decorate my home, and how I create.

I live 15 miles out of the city, on an old hobby farm, so trips to town do not happen every day, and I usually find myself digging around our sheds and my workshop when I am trying to build or create something, and try to make do with whatever I can find.  Sometimes I don’t even know what I’m creating until I’m 50% done with a project!

This little table was a thrift store find several months ago, and I finally got around to giving it a bit of a makeover recently.

beforeTable Before

I sanded down the top of the table, and lightly sanded down the legs.  Then I gave the legs & table edges a fresh new coat of Rustoleum hammered metallic spray paint in a bronze tone.

I topped off the table and the sides of the table with old yardsticks that I cut down to size using my chop saw.  After applying the yardsticks to the table top and sides with small tack nails I rescued from my Grandfathers garage, I finished off the table top with a nice coat of Minwax Polyshades (stain + poly top coat).

This one of a kind table will be for sale at my new vendor booth at The Shed (1519 Mayer Road, Altoona, Wi) starting on November 15th!

Another fun project, and another piece of thrift store furniture rescued!
